Cute wearable for a hot summer day
Here’s a great little tee made by Natalia of Spain. Sleeveless and cool. Stamp your images using a fabric ink such as VERSACRAFT by TSUKINEKO. Heat set the images by top pressing with an iron and pressing cloth. VOILA!
Done! Machine washable. How easy is that? Feeling like you want to color? Then color in using fabric inks by Tsukineko. Again, heat set to be sure. asy peasy and darn cute too!

Amy (Wilson) Wellenstein sent me these WONDERFUL tags stamped with Stampotique rubber stamp images mostly from the Daniel Torrente collection. I love what she did. She said it was easy, but I don’t know. Its one thing if I did these. Its ANOTHER THING when Amy does them. She used RIT DYE, powdered form and aluminum throw-away-pans. Mix up your dye, a little bit at a time, and immerse the tags into whatever color you choose.
Hang them on a tree to dry. Once they are all dry, go CRAZY and rubber stamp up a whole bunch. Add all sorts of embellishments AND beautiful, luscious, gorgeous ribbons. You want the recipient to OOOO and AHHH when you hand them over! Amy presents these also as a ‘gift’ of sorts in that the recipient can not only enjoy LOOKING at them or hanging them on their Christmas tree, but ALSO can use them as GIFT tags on presents they give away. Pretty good idea, huh? Yeah, that Amy is pretty darn creative. Thank you Amy for this WONDERFUL idea. You’re the best. Did I say too that Amy makes the most WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL sterling silver jewelry?
This year she is incorporating ancient Roman glass into her creations. You can find Amy and her jewels at http://adornthewearer.blogspot Enjoy!

A sweet, sweet young woman living in Spain has sent me a picture of her notebooks made using our ‘3 in a round’ and Moth Fab. I love her touch. I love how she colors just simply with a bit of color here and there. Everyday brings something new. Everyone is an artist in their own way. Thank you so much, Natalia!!! BRAVO! Thank you for allowing me to share your personal work with others.

Vicki Garrett from Canada…..a WHIZ with the COPIC markers. Check out her beautiful work using our NO SNOW NOSE by Kylie D’Orio. Kylie grew up around birds of all sorts, thus her ‘expertise’ drawing such a variety that we carry.
Didn’t Vicki do a great job with this stamp? I love her color combo and what a fun Christmas card this would make! Here in the desert southwest we start early making our holiday cards cause its so hot outdoors. We have to stay in and keep cool, so what better to do than craft some cards! You can hop over to Vicki’s blog here
. Notice how Vicki shaded around the eyes and head? She’s good! Check out her blog for directions on how she used the Copics.

Sunny days are ahead. Jess Klein is becoming stronger every day and the nurses refer to him as THE MIRACLE MAN OF MAYO. He has a long road ahead, but that’s OK. Jess is a very brave man.
TODAY I have a great piece of art to show you by a friend, Cindy Gauthier. Cindy has used our little Girl with a Heart Purse stamp to relay her message. I love the butterfly wings too, especially that they are BLUE. Speaking of which, have you ever seen the movie THE BLUE BUTTERFLY? Rent it. Its great. Back to Cindy’s art, I believe she worked on canvas this time. She loves to build up her backgrounds with various paints and then apply a stamp or two. Amazing the depth she has obtained. Great work Cindy.

Yes, we have NEW images from Daniel and Janet. Crow line and Moon Girl’s crow can be found by clicking on the names. Crow line would be cute for a set of stationery, wouldn’t it? Moon Girl’s crow was sized just for her! Of course you can use the crow for anything you’d like, but we thought Moon Girl needed her very own crow! After all, Spider girl has her very own furry tarantula! Moon Girl can actually be placed right on the crow’s back for a night time flight! Oh, and I almost forgot our very precious and well-dressed Mr. Stripes! It seems that Mr. Stripes, believe it or not, is one of our all time best sellers!
Thinking about those Christmas cards?? Hmmmmmm. Better check out what Daniel has come up with!!! First we have “Snowman” and a great ‘fallen’ snow person which I have named “Global Warming.” You’ll understand when you see him. Then we have Noelle dressed up all ‘perty’ in her winter skirt. I happen to love her handknitted mittens. Her friend, “O Joy” seems a bit forlorn, but I’m sure that once “Santa Baby” visits him with a gift, he’ll feel a lot better. To add some accessories, you will find a wonderful 5-sided cube! Yes, 5-sided.
Bob, who’s in time out and Peggy, who loves to craft with scissors are also irresistible! I LOVE Peggy’s pigtails and front teeth. Bob seems a bit disgruntled, but maybe he’ll feel better once Peggy crafts something for him!
